British Flora – Producers of Native Wildflower and Seed

Welcome to British Flora at GroundsFest! We are looking forward to sharing with you our exceptional range of native wildflower plug plants, seed products, and innovative coir products.

British Flora is the largest UK native wildflower plug plant producer with two state of the art UK nurseries, growing and supplying a huge variety of native species for all habitats, from coastal and marine, to moorlands and peatlands and everywhere in between.

British Flora is committed to promoting biodiversity and supporting sustainable landscaping practices. With no import costs and significant investment in innovative production equipment and teams of skilled staff, British Flora offer top quality UK grown products and excellent customer service whilst maintaining competitive pricing.

The scale of our facility allows us at British Flora to contract grow plants to order, so if you are looking ahead or require large quantities of specific species, we can fulfil this with no extra cost. Come and chat to one of our team to discuss how we can work with you.

In addition to our plug plants, we offer an extensive selection of wildflower seed products. These seeds are sourced from native UK species, ensuring that they are perfectly suited to local conditions and contribute to the preservation of our natural heritage. We offer seeds in various quantities, suitable for small projects to large-scale restoration initiatives. Our team will guide you through the selection process, helping you choose the right mix for your needs and providing advice on sowing techniques to achieve optimal results.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at British Flora, which is why we are also excited to showcase our range of coir products. Made from sustainably sourced natural coconut fibres, our coir products are environmentally friendly and provide an excellent growing medium for our wildflowers. Visitors can learn about the benefits of using coir, including its excellent water retention properties, biodegradability, and ability to support healthy plant growth. Our display will include examples of coir-based growing mats and biodegradable coir rolls, demonstrating their practical applications.

Our team of experts have extensive knowledge and experience in native wildflower cultivation, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) best practice and ecological restoration. Our specialists are here to answer your questions and provide personalised advice. Whether you are just curious about the best species for your site, need guidance on habitat restoration, or are looking for innovative landscaping ideas, our team is here to help.

We look forward to welcoming you to our stand and sharing our passion for native wildflowers and sustainable practices. See you at GroundsFest!
