Educational Seminars
GroundsFest’s educational seminars will provide advice, insight and real solutions to the biggest issues the groundscare industry cares most about. This part of the event will present a real opportunity to enhance your knowledge on a wide range of subjects and no matter what your position – from management to apprentice, we have something for everyone.
The Landscape Zone
An area dedicated to all those involved in the planning, design, and construction of outdoor environments in the landscaping sector. The Landscape Zone is set to spotlight the latest outdoor environment technologies, solutions and innovations and will be a must-attend event for landscape architects, local authority landscaping professionals, garden designers, landscape contractors, interior designers, facilities managers and many more.
Music Festival
After an action-packed day at GroundsFest, unwind and continue networking with live music, sumptuous street food, and fun, skill-based activities. We have some great DJ’s and live bands taking to the stage. Furthermore, we’ll have beer tents and a wide range of delicious food and drink stalls – inspired by flavours from all over the world.
Practical Training
Carried out by Grounds Training, the programme will feature free hands-on, training sessions on a range of groundscare topics including line marking, pedestrian mowers, ride-on mowers, handheld machinery, and the calibration and use of knapsack sprayers and boom sprayers. The sessions will be delivered by a fantastic team of Lantra approved instructors which includes Keith Kent, Martin Sampson, Chris Parry, and Steve Potter.
Retail Area
A huge retail area - the largest ever seen at a groundscare event. This will allow visitors to purchase a wide range of products, tools, clothing, and accessories at a discounted rate. It’s a fantastic opportunity for visitors to walk away with some incredible discounts which will only be available at GroundsFest.
Machinery Nation LIVE
See the best products from the best brands competing against one another in the ultimate machinery face-off! This new area also features equipment challenges where visitors can compete against friends and colleagues for a chance to win fantastic prizes. Brought to you live by Machinery Nation!
National Avant Pro Challenge
This exciting competition will test participants' skills through a series of tasks including slaloms, material handling, and tool changes. Competitors will navigate a specially designed track in an Avant Loader, with time penalties for mistakes and disqualification for incomplete tasks. The challenge demands speed, precision, and agility, with tasks suited for all Avant users. The track layout will remain a secret until the day of the event, adding an extra layer of excitement. The fastest, most skilled, and precise drivers will win fantastic prizes! The competition is open to all Avant customers and dealers, and advance registration is required. Interested participants should contact Avant to secure their spot and prove their prowess.
