TGA to champion the benefits of high-quality natural turf

The Turfgrass Growers Association (TGA) is looking forward to exhibiting at GroundsFest 2025, where we’ll be championing the benefits of high-quality natural turf and the importance of sourcing from accredited growers. As the UK’s leading trade body for turfgrass production, the TGA represents growers committed to producing turf to a strict set of industry-approved standards.

At our stand, we’ll be highlighting the value of the TGA Quality Standard, a benchmark for cultivated turf that ensures consistency, strength, and suitability for landscape use. We’ll also be raising awareness of our upcoming ban on plastic netting in turf production, due to take effect from October 2026. This move reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility and positions TGA members at the forefront of sustainable turf production.

In addition, we’ll be sharing information about our ongoing advocacy work, including recent campaigns around hosepipe ban exemptions and the role of natural turf in managing water and enhancing green spaces. These efforts are crucial to protecting the industry and promoting the long-term value of turf in both public and private settings.

We welcome all visitors, whether you’re a contractor, landscaper, architect, or developer to come and learn more about the TGA, our members, and the advantages of working with trusted suppliers. We’ll also be happy to speak with turf growers interested in joining the Association and accessing the many benefits of membership.
