Celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2026, Seddon Plant & Engineers Ltd will be showcasing the in-ground cutting capabilities of the Arbortech ALLSAW BA200X at GroundsFest, giving visitors the opportunity to get hands on with the unit throughout the event.
Powered by the 54V DEWALT FLEXVOLT battery system, the cordless BA200X has been developed for demanding applications where conventional cutting equipment or manual methods can be difficult and time-consuming to use.
Fitted with Arbortech’s specialist Wood Blade, the BA200X can cut directly into the ground and through established tree roots. Its tungsten carbide teeth and reverse-cutting action help reduce jamming in soil and root-heavy conditions, making it a practical option for landscapers, arborists, contractors and grounds maintenance teams. The specialist Turf Blade provides clean, controlled cutting to a depth of up to 170mm. Applications include turf installation and removal, edging, irrigation work and the maintenance of sports pitches, golf courses, parks and other managed green spaces. The XL General Purpose Blade further extends the system’s capabilities to harder in-ground materials.
The BA200X was also recently put through its paces by Machinery Nation, demonstrating its versatility across a range of real-world landscaping and in-ground cutting applications. Visitors to GroundsFest will have the opportunity to see those capabilities demonstrated for themselves and discuss where the machine could fit within their work.
