GroundsFest 2026 promises to be a showcase of innovation, and SPA Power Machinery is proud to introduce Xtracto, a powerful new pin and post pulling tool designed to make removal faster, safer and more efficient.
Removing fence posts, tree supports, ground anchors, drive rods and small shrubs can be time-consuming and physically demanding. Traditional methods such as digging, levering and manual pulling can also cause injury and damage posts.
Xtracto provides a better solution. Manufactured in Canada, this lightweight professional tool delivers up to 2,500kg (2.5 tonnes) of controlled vertical pulling power, powered by an impact wrench from Milwaukee, Makita or DeWalt.
Ideal for landscaping, agriculture, viticulture, construction and events, Xtracto enables a single operator to quickly remove posts and pins, reducing labour fatigue, saving valuable time and allowing posts to be reused without bending or damage. With a choice of hook sizes, Xtracto can tackle everything from small formwork and marquee pins to fence posts and shrubs.
Alongside Xtracto, SPA Power Machinery will showcase its established ranges of Westermann Weed and Moss Brushes and the Easy Petrol Post Driver.
Westermann’s pedestrian and ride-on machines provide powerful, chemical-free and water-free solutions for removing moss, weeds and debris from hard surfaces. Manufactured in Germany and powered by Honda GX engines, the range offers interchangeable heads and brushes for a wide variety of applications.
The Easy Petrol Post Driver, manufactured in Australia by Christie Engineering, provides a portable and efficient alternative to sledgehammers and manual post driving. Powered by Honda engines, it can drive timber and metal posts up to 4” in diameter, with adapters covering a range of post sizes. Now backed by a 5-year commercial warranty, it is built for demanding professional use.
Visitors to the SPA Power Machinery stand can enjoy exclusive show offers, expert advice and live demonstrations of these machines in action.
