At Stand G6, Eco Clipper presents its electric mowing system through the FM343, the smallest mower in the range. This 343 cm wide front-mounted deck suits compact tractors with a category 1 front linkage and folds to a transport width of 170 cm for easy movement between sites.
The FM343 runs the same mowing system used across the full Eco Clipper range. Instead of one or two large blades, the deck is built up from smaller deck sections, each carrying multiple small, high-speed blades with their own electric drive. Combined with a smooth deck underside, this keeps the cut consistent and clipping distribution even, including in wet or longer grass, and it does so quietly, an advantage on sites used by the public. Because each small blade needs comparatively little power, the PTO-driven generator places a lighter load on the tractor engine, which keeps fuel consumption down. The same system scales up to working widths of 14.1 m for larger operations.
This makes the system suited to any regularly maintained grass area, not only sports fields. Visitors will see this reflected in applications ranging from golf courses and parks to municipal green space, turfgrass production, and estate or campus grounds.
Also on show at Stand G6 is the Spin-Rake from Spin Turf Machinery. After a dry summer, many turf areas need help recovering, and the Spin-Rake’s oscillating tines remove weeds, moss and organic material from the turf without damaging the grass, while lifting the grass blades into an upright position ahead of the next cut. It is a practical first step back to a healthy, even sward.
