Leading garden machinery distributor Henton & Chattell will return to GroundsFest 2026 in a landmark year for the family business, as it celebrates 95 years since its foundation.
Visitors to stand OSA580 will see one of the biggest collections of new Cobra machinery in the brand’s history, with launches spanning professional sports turf, robotic lawncare, ride-on machinery and domestic lawnmowers.Taking centre stage will be the new Cobra Fortis Rotary 34, developed to complement the successful Fortis Stadium 34 professional cylinder mower. The new rotary model strengthens Cobra’s growing presence in professional sports turf, providing grounds teams with an additional high-performance mowing solution for stadiums, cricket clubs and other premium turf environments.
The Fortis Stadium 34 will also feature prominently. Engineered specifically for professional sports turf, the cylinder mower delivers the precision, consistency and finish required by stadiums, golf courses, cricket clubs and bowling greens. Together, the Stadium 34 and new Rotary 34 underline Cobra’s continued investment in the professional sector. GroundsFest will also provide the first opportunity to see a new Cobra out-front mower, alongside the latest generation of Cobra Mowbot robotic lawnmowers.
The new Mowbot range includes the Mowbot 800RTK X and Mowbot 1500RTK X, combining RTK satellite positioning, VSLAM visual navigation and intelligent obstacle detection for accurate, wire-free mowing without a traditional boundary cable. Multi-zone management and app-based control make it easy to manage different areas of the lawn.
Visitors can also preview the forthcoming Cobra Mowbot Edge, ahead of its planned 2027 launch. Its Precision Offset Drive system uses motorised lateral cutting adjustment to move the cutting disc beyond the wheel line, allowing the mower to cut to within just 1cm of the lawn edge and significantly reduce the need for follow-up trimming.
The Mowbot Edge will also introduce 180° Ultra-Vision Avoidance: Dual-Camera System. A new Side Camera works alongside advanced AI vision to identify more than 300 obstacles and extend the mower’s field of vision beyond its direction of travel.
Elsewhere on stand OSA580, Cobra will showcase its ZTR42L and ZTR50L zero-turn mowers and ZTS32L and ZTS36L stand-on models. Designed for larger estates, local authorities and professional landscapers, the machines combine heavy-duty cutting decks, powerful engines and excellent manoeuvrability.
Billy Goat will also feature on the Henton & Chattell stand, with a selection of professional machinery on display for demanding commercial turfcare and grounds maintenance applications. The range includes powerful leaf and litter vacuums, debris loaders, blowers, aerators, overseeders, scarifiers and turf renovation equipment, giving contractors and grounds teams the opportunity to see equipment designed around productivity, durability and ease of use.
With new machinery across several key sectors, GroundsFest 2026 will provide the perfect setting for Henton & Chattell to celebrate 95 years while demonstrating the continued development of Cobra alongside its wider professional machinery portfolio.
