Harrowden to launch four new products
at GroundsFest 2023.

With a new show, new location and new timing Harrowden is wasting no time in making the most of Groundsfest 2023. Ahead of the show which will open its doors on September 20th Harrowden is gearing up to launch a new updated brand, a range of luxurious bughouses, a new planter and a prototype garden building as well as a range of Mobilane Green Screens featuring eight different plant species and coming in three different sizes.

Available to business account customers as well as through their retail arm – www.turfonline.co.uk – these new products consolidate Harrowden’s position as the UK’s biggest turf, wildflower and sedum grower and will help take its retail sales to a new level.

Alongside its own product developments in sedum, soils, plants, plugs and seed mixes Harrowden has also built strong partnerships with other key horticultural brands like, Hozelock, Mobilane, Fiskars, Evergreen, Bosworth’s Garden Centres, Core Landscape Products, Timotay Playscapes, Bury Hill and Green Best.

Also launched this week the Harrowden Bughouse comes in two sizes and two complimentary designs and take bughouses into the 21st century. Available in two sizes the bughouses measure 500mm x 500mm or 500mm x 1m and come with provision for a green roof utilising Harrowden’s well known green roofing expertise but all in a simple tray, allowing quick tending and refurbishment. With dedicated “housing” for hedgehogs, bees, ladybirds and lacewings both bughouses are double-sided for high occupancy and made from FSC certified Douglas Fir. As a custom product Harrowden are expecting to offer a leadtime of between four and six weeks as each one is built to order locally.

Harrowden will also launch a matching planter and living Green Screens at the show and showcase a prototype garden building whilst bringing a wide variety of turf, Meadowmat Wildflower Turf, feed, topsoil and seed mixes to the show.
