Lantra – GroundsFest Event Preview

With our Head office based on Stoneleigh Park, the Lantra Team is counting down to the inaugural GroundsFest 2023, when we’re looking forward to welcoming thousands of landscaping industry professionals to our home in the Warwickshire countryside.

With over 40 years’ experience helping the land-based and environment sector meet its skills needs, our team will be on hand across the two-day event to share our latest developments in training and qualifications; inspire visitors with our careers information in landscaping, whilst gathering views and feedback from industry to inform our future products and services.

Lantra acts as a catalyst for bringing different parts of the sector together and GroundsFest will be no different. We’ve invited a whole host of industry experts, employers and employees, as well as Lantra training Providers and Instructors, along to our indoor stand and outdoor demonstrator area over the 2 days. Here we will be showcasing tools with the latest battery technology and the new Lantra product suite for landscaping professionals.

We are hoping visitors to the show will join the educational seminars where Lantra is keen for insights from the industry to future proof our offer, addressing the needs of the environment whilst keeping sight of commercial challenges and opportunities afforded by technology. We want to ensure the workforce is suitably skilled to meet the needs of employers now and in the years ahead. Therefore, we are constantly looking at ways to translate the needs of the sector into our own training courses, as well as those of reputable training partners who develop specialist courses under the Lantra brand.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we are uniquely placed to take a truly objective stance on the many and varied needs of the land-based and environment sector. We have no shareholders to keep happy, and only work with partners who are similarly committed to improving workforce skills.

Whether it be conducting research in partnership with organisations such a CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environment Management), working with devolved governments to deliver specific skills programmes, or partnering with organisations like Harper Adams University to ensure our training keeps pace with latest technological innovation, Lantra can always be relied upon to put the needs of the sector first.
