LCVT are enormously excited to be exhibiting at this years GroundsFest Event for the first time.
We will be showcasing on the stand 2 innovative and unique 3,500kg vehicles for the transportation of both machinery and equipment to site.
The first vehicle is the answer to one of the industries biggest challenges; “how do we move commercial mowers to site when operatives do not have the necessary driving licence classification to tow a trailer, but we need a dual purpose vehicle that we do not need to stand up in the winter months?”
LCVT have developed a vehicle which addresses both these issues, the Side Tipping Beavertail.
The vehicle has the ability to carry commercial mowers during the grass cutting session with its full width tailgate and high payload and in the winter months with its side tipping body move general waste and brush.
The second vehicle on display will be the low floor grounds maintenance vehicle using LCVT’S own low floor chassis conversion. With a payload up to 1,400kg, floor height of 550mm, full width tailgate and unique perforated aluminium floor which offers a non-slip surface in all weather conditions the vehicle is “groundbreaking in a number of key areas”
