Contractor Flail Mower Collector

A Heavy Duty range of flail mower collectors capable of clearing grass and scrub up to 75mm (3″) in diameter. Ideal for annual cutting of conservation and wild flower areas and scrub clearance. The Contractor collector is particularly suitable for long/wet grass, scrub-land, heather, bracken, gorse and managing wild flower areas. In fact a number of Contractors are now being used for specialist applications in conservation. The annual cut and collect of wild flower areas is a normal application. Cutting and collecting heather for regeneration purposes and the clearance of problem species such as bracken and gorse are also becoming common. The robust construction of the machine and features such as the large diameter rear roller (200mm) allow the machine to be used in very arduous conditions. The fully mounted machines are easily maneuvered in awkward areas and on badly undulating ground conditions. The Contractor range feature a cast hammer type flail. The hardened cutting edge and weight of approximately 1kg allow the machines to cut through material up to 75mm in diameter. The ‘shovel’ design effectively throws the cut material into the hopper without requiring extra ‘draft/wind paddles’, the throwing action gives more efficient collection even in the wet. The straight cutting edge leaves a high quality finish. Flail maintenance is made easy by the rotor inspection door which allows full access to the blades and rotor from above.

Professional Flail Mower Collector

High performance flail mower & scarifier collectors designed for the professional user, ideal for sports fields, golf courses and high quality grass areas where a high standard of finish is required. These machine are also ideal for leaf collection. The Professional range provides machines suitable for a number of tasks. Mowing and collecting of fine grass, coarse grass and even areas set aside for conservation and wild flowers can be quickly and easily returned to prime condition with simple changes to flails and settings on the machines. Quick and accurate roller height adjusters with graduated scales ensure precise control of cutting height and more importantly scarifying depth for a perfect finish in any situation. The access door allows quick and easy maintenance of the flail rotor, changing of cutting and scarifying blades and cleaning of the machine after work. The Professionals full width rear roller is easily and accurately adjusted for precise control of cutting height and scarifying depth of work with a simple screw adjustment on the side of the mower. Adjustable height front castor wheels means the machine follows ground contours accurately, and floating linkage mountings mean this is completely independent of the tractor and any change in it’s aspect as the combination travels over undulating ground conditions to give and even finish without scalping.

Mini Flail Mower Collector

Mini flail mower collectors cut and collect on all types of grass from lawns to conservation areas and have scarifying capability. Their robust yet lightweight construction allows safe use on small tractors even with a full hopper of cuttings. The low profile design allows use in situations where overall height is an important consideration, ideal in orchards and large gardens where overhanging branches are a problem. The Mini Collector can also be used during autumn to pick up leaves, litter and even hedge clippings. The powerful action of the paddle flails mulch any collected material, vastly reducing its volume and speeding up the composting process. The collected material is tipped hydraulically from the tractor seat, or via a manual lever opening for tractors without an external hydraulic supply. NEW HIGH TIP to 1.85m is available on the 1.2m and 1.6m models.

Peruzzo TB100C Chipper

The TB 100 is a drum chipper, a very compact machine capable of chipping branches up to 10 cm in diameter, whether that be organic dry or wet waste. The TB 100 is intended for professional users, the machine has a very high productivity rate and comes with two wide long-life reversible blades. Thanks to the chipping drum design, branches, twigs and hedge cuttings are automatically drawn into the machine without aid of driving rollers. The centrifugal force created by the rotor ejects the chipped product material, ejected out from the adjustable discharge chute in height and throwing it for about 5/7 mt. (depending on material) allowing an easy loading container or trailer. Driven by an internal combustion engine with V-belt drive which makes it very durable. Large sloping hopper ideal for loading large volumes without excessive pruning cuts, saving time and money. The compact overall dimensions (76 cm width) shall permit access even through tight places or terraces and the load in small vans with aid of loading ramp. Also available with a tipping body option that can be swapped on the track drive unit for the chipper.

Peruzzo Motofrog Pedestrian Flail Mower

The Perruzzo Motofrog 75 is a professional self propelled flail mower with a 75cm wide cut and available on tracks or wheels. The machine can deal with heavy vegetation in hard to reach places as the whole unit is only 90cm wide. With 4 forward gears and 2 reverse the machine is easy to manoeuvre and a has suitable cutting speed for various densities of material. Height adjustable front caster wheels allow for a maximum cutting height of 8cm down to a minimum of 2cm.
